At the End of the Road

Walked into town, to post office and to pay for the JCB yesterday. As I turned into Rua Dom Manuel, saw this looking down the road going out of town. The cobbles were all lit up, gold, it was astonishing. And continued so for quite a while.

Gratefuls:
- another cracked tooth fixed in Reguengos, and an unexpected, good conversation with the dentist and her (Brazilian from Maranhão) assistant; you don't usually get to talk much at the dentist, but she was having trouble figuring out how to fix my tooth
- coffee and a pastel de nata made with ground acorns instead of cream, at a swish new place on the corner of the main square
- a world of beauty, my main problem with Blip is often choosing; Mike chose this one as being unusual with that low cloud looking like a bridge over the road
