Gloom

The overnight fog was supposed to have lifted by lunchtime but it didn't. Everything is cold, dripping, grey. We had originally planned to go for a walk to cheer us up but decided to postpone it, though there's another yellow warning of fog for tonight, too. This is the view from the end of the garden, over the less formal hedge & the springer-proof fence, to the field to the east. At least the little Guelder Rose is trying to inject a spot of colour!
