Dad’s 90th birthday

Well, it still is even though we lost him in February.  We decided to have a dinner for the family and it was to be a meal of his favourite things.  But then understandably the two brothers who were coming from out of area cried off to protect Xmas and holidays. 

We had smoked salmon and champagne, followed by beef and venison stew with baked spuds and red wine.  Followed by a chocolate mousse cake.  Kings Ginger, whisky and Bendicks bittermints while we zoomed with the two absent brothers.   It was a lovely evening and Dad would have thoroughly enjoyed it.
