The Hairy Coo

We' stopped as usual at the Ralia Cafe on the A9 near Newtonmore on our way up to the Black Isle. This magnificent highland cow guards the path to the cafe and the Hairy Coo gift shop. It was the first time I've stopped to take a photograph, the late afternoon light was lovely  (at about 3pm, it is midwinter). I noticed the ear tag for the first time too, number 13 of course, see the extra.
