Boy and wolf

This small boy met the wolf safely ensconced in his glass display case in Inverness Museum, today. The Scottish Highlands were the last stronghold of the wolf in Britain and the wolf is part of the museum's natural history display. The display next door is Felicity the Puma, in the extra. Felicity was captured in a cage trap in Glen Affric in 1980 after reported sightings of a big cat in the area. It was quickly established that Felicity was obviously a pampered pet and she lived the rest of her pampered days at the Highland Wildlife Park in Kingussie.
