Water in the air

We have been covered in low cloud or fog (is there a difference) all day. Two advantages - the spiders webs are covered in water droplets and create a wonderful effect on the seed heads of the fennel and the mist provides a plain (if dull grey) backdrop. It has also felt very cold with the dampness seeping through unpleasantly. A big changes from the bright sunshine yesterday.
Wood chopping and a bit of gardening this morning and then putting up a long stream of lights this afternoon over shrubs at the front to add some festive twinkle.
