Sunday

A  Christmassy day.

What was going to be a large gathering for lunch whittled down to 10 due to covid. The Black Horse gave us an excellent meal in a private room.

Keith turned up to collect their lunches as takeaways.

Annemarie (landlady) said she grateful if anyone walks through the door these days. Must be a nightmare.

This evening, we walked into town to watch the Tinsel Tractor Parade.  There must have been getting on for 100. Very, very noisy but a spectacle indeed.  I think this was it's 2nd year and it drew a crowd.

The foggy torch light walk home along the canal was atmospheric.
