Beachy Saturday

Today started with a long walk on the beach for Martin and me. It was just perfect weather-wise. The trick is to go early in the morning before it gets really hot. There were loads of jellyfish washed ashore!

Back home for a nice breakfast and then on to Coolum Beach for a swim! This time with Jon. A bit busier at that beach, with perfect water temperature for swimming. So a really nice start to the weekend.

Then home to mowing, garden care, etc. On Friday, we had bought a dart board for our patio and today we set it up. Looks good. We look forward to playing with whoever would like to.

Later in the evening, Bruce came over and we had a lovely time reminiscing about Martin, Tom, and Bruce’s childhood, the good and the bad! So enjoying these family times together.

Oh and today, Tom had his open heart bypass surgery in Brisbane. All has gone well and we are hoping and praying for a good recovery. He’ll be in hospital for at least 10 days, so there for Christmas.
