Children at play - outside again

Mr C attempted a food shop at opening time. He did well, though finding some items meant a trip to 3 supermarkets. Impressed - Everyone wore masks.

Meanwhile I made a family calendar - some of the male members of the family are old school and don’t use their phone ones. I used photos from through the year to make one with space for appointments to be written in.

We had an early lunch as we had to drive to near Durham to Adventure Valley, a farm that has diversified into a massive children’s play area. It wasn’t busy so here the blip is, kids old and young, having a go on the go-carts till it was time for Santa.

I organised with an elf for me to go through a back entrance to see Ella and Nathaniel chat with Santa, avoiding all the singing hoards in the queuing barn - #3 daughter had booked it all in the summer when things were different.

Carol is still feeling grim with Covid and one of the boys at Ella’s rugby is in hospital on oxygen. I hope he makes it. Everything seems much harder this year. Stay as safe as you can.
