It was not my day.  It very rarely is my day.

I had a couple of errands this afternoon.  I thought I could get the always empty bus back home. My timings were all good and I was at the bus stop with 3 minutes to spare.  I checked the app for my local bus company - motto "striving to give you a shit service EVERY day" - my bus was there, should be bang on time said the app.

A bus I know that runs in the other direction appeared bang on schedule.  But my bus was a no-show.  Checked the app again.  My bus is no longer shown in the app.  It's been and gone.  It's 30 minutes until the next one and it's really pretty chilly out there.  So I decide that having waited 10 minutes I'll walk home.

I head up the street and then I have to cross a road. I looked back to my bus stop and there's my bus - 15 minutes late (which counts as bang on time here).  I had no chance to get back to the bus stop.

Customer Service - a mystery to ESWE since forever and will always be one because they don't care.

On the plus side, it wasn't raining and it wasn't grey.
