Christmas sparkles

Stevie the cat was sick yesterday so much of today was spent getting him a vet's appointment and taking him for injections, blood tests etc. then waiting for results. Turns out his kidneys aren't working as well as they should, so he's now on a special low protein diet - I think his food now costs more than ours! He's settled down again, and is well on the mend.

Shortest day of the year (for the pedants, least daylight) and after so many great days, today it never seemed to get light. So here's a Christmassy shot of a multi-exposure (3) of the lights on the tree, two very our of focus, to give the bokeh blobs, and one in focus on the snowdrop bauble. Using my Fujinon 50mm lens.
