Red sky at night.....

Another hot and stick day :)  I was reminded by a comment from my sister that we passed the summer solstice on Tuesday so our days are now beginning to shorten!  Funny that summer feels as though it's only just got under way.   

Almost finished the house-wash during the morning - just a couple of less than straightforward bits to get to but they're relatively small and will be easy to do once I get there so tomorrow should see it through.  Managed a few other smaller fixit jobs, blitzed a neglected area of the garden, popped into town in the late afternoon expecting things to be humming and was very surprised to find things quiet.  Tomorrow will be busier I'm sure.   Not long to go now until the madeness is over ;) 

In COVID news,  56 new community cases, 48 in hospital and 7 in ICU.
