To The Bone

I feared at one point I might suffer frost bite in my fingers. Despite my padded gloves, in between shots I had to repeatedly wave my arms, blow through cupped hands and stuff them in my pockets. I hate that feeling when they eventually defrost.

Wind gusts up to 40mph last night pushed the ice sheet hard enough such that it splintered into smaller pieces which were driven up onto the rocks. I felt I should be able to make something of the spectacle, but in practice there is very little contrast to work with. I found a few pieces at an angle that caught a bit of light allowing them to stand out.

I also posted a catch up for yesterday.
