We returned. I've been here before.. in July 2004. The interior was a mess; I don't think we were allowed in anything but a tiny alcove. My family told me that the pope came in 2010 to bless the church, so they hurried up construction inside.

It. Is. Beautiful.

Words fail me. I have so many lovely photos but not one of them is enough. All of them are not enough. I want so many more. Give me more. More beauty. More design. More architecture. More light. More movement in the stone. Oh.
