Whisky Tasting

Christmas Eve with our boys - it’s  joyous to have them with us. This morning, we visit Penderyn’s new distillery in Llandudno.  I do not intend to go on the tour,  but in the end I give in to persuasion rather then temptation.  In fairness, it is interesting - even after countless previous whisky tours - and the tasting session is  particularly good. It’s this that features in today’s blip.

Then it’s some frantic last minute shopping (how can there still be things I need?) then preparations for our Christmas Eve meal. Solveig is German, so we’ve adopted the tradition of at least a partial celebration tonight. And to add to the international dimension, there’s a nod to the Icelandic Jolabokaflod  - Christmas Book Flood - where everyone gets the gift of a book.

Now exhausted and ready for hopefully a good night’s sleep, I wish you all a very Happy Christmas!
