Activities

As expected we woke to rain, and it’s been on and off all day, such a contrast to yesterday. However, we worked our activities to suit the day.

This morning our two teenagers practised their driving in the paddock, Ella had had a go on a previous visit, but Harry had never been behind the wheel.  I’ve covered this in extra, the top one grandad and dad making fun of Ellas driving, she’s laughing.  The bottom one is of Harry taking the job very seriously and did very well.

Ella had booked a table at Barkers of Geraldine for lunch.  Excellent decor, excellent foods, and the company excellent also.  A lot of fun we had.  Not sure if you can read what was on my cider can but worth the read if you can.  A clever play on words. (Dorkland being Auckland, sometimes called this from most other places outside of Auckland) thought best to explain

We weren’t at all hungry tonight so attacked the ham again, and cleaned up the berries served with Vanilla Bean Ice-cream.

Tonight we’ve been playing cards, a game Doug and I have never played before Presidents and Assholes.  Hilarious, then another game that entailed cards and tongues, nuff siad.!!

It’s been a another fun family day.

Rainie
