View from Baldernock Parish Church Graveyard

After a wander round the graveyard we had planned to go for a walk but it started to rain and was quite cold so we just went home instead. The view across the fields with the city on the horizon is taken from the little cemetery across the road from Baldernock Parish Church. The present church was built in 1795 on the site of an earlier church and the religious history of the site dates back to the 13th century.
Baldernock, in East Dunbartonshire, is one of the smallest parishes in Scotland and is very rural despite being only 15 minutes away from the centre of Glasgow.
