Spring

Its gorgeous in Virginia this time of the year and all the flowers are blooming.

My parents have azaleas planted all around the house. Huge ones, planted many long years ago when I was just a little kid. Whites, reds, and purples....in full bloom now, giant butterfly magnets.

Just weeks ago I was in Edinburgh with a friend, walking through the botanic gardens (which are amazing!). One greenhouse was full of azaleas. Specializing in a collection from all over the world. Every shape, size, color on the sun...
