The "Grand" National

The Oxford-Cambridge Boat Race and The Grand National are two traditional indicators that spring is here and summer cannot be far off. Last Saturday was the Boat Race and this week sees the horse race.

This year it has generated considerable controversy with animal rights groups protesting and BBC Scotland carried a major discussion on it yesterday. Today I snapped this hoarding and I leave you to make up your own mind on the topic.
