Baking with Grandad

It was a horrible soggy morning but it didn't stop us heading out to the estate for more adventures in the Wild Wood and leaf dropping in to the mini waterfall, before feeding the ducks.

I had a big, wonderful surprise whilst we were walking alongside the pond, with the appearance of my two cousins who I haven't seen in several years.  Needless to say there was much catching up, exchanging of numbers and promises to meet up in the New Year, with Auntie Betty too.  We are not a close family, but when we do get together it is usually great fun with much laughter.

We were all getting cold and wet so it was time to turn for home.   After a good lunch of fish fingers and beans it was off for a nap and time for the grown ups to relax.  Once awake again, Grandad Tony took charge and together he and Euan baked yummy chocolate buns.  Another busy day.
