I'm not saying that getting a large ironing done was the highlight of my day, but it was certainly a contributing factor. Glad that's out of the way!

In other news, friends popped round in the afternoon bearing Christmas gifts and we had a good blether. One of my other friends phoned in the evening and we too had a good blether.

In-between times I drove over to Denny - once more as it was starting to get dark - and had a wander along the River Carron, which was rather high and fast-flowing today. Light wasn't great for photos, but I took a few for Blip's sake before hitting the shops for essentials like milk, coffee and crisps. Well, completing a large ironing deserves a reward!
