The joys of a "jardin sauvage"

Sometimes, it's hard to know for whom you grow the food.

I've perhaps mentioned in the past that we are reseeding the lawn following Ottawacker Jr.'s Covid-19 goalkeeping mania in 2020. We grow herbs and other sundry things, none of which seem to prosper overly. Seriously though, it doesn't matter.

I'd much rather witness the chance encounter of two shoppers at the Ottawacker Garden Emporium. Blissfully unaware of each other until the last second, the groundhog and the rabbit, both having eaten herbs and carrots and raspberries till their tummies were distended, lay down a foot apart from each other and started a long slumber.

Good on them, I say. There's nothing I need that desperately that a couple of locals can't have if they need it.

And life is might tough down in that creek!
