Deep Purple

Ours is not an early Spring garden. Very few daffodils and no crocuses - they either failed in the past, or flower so late that they merge into the late spring blooms which are much more successful. This hellebore is a notable exception. I've drawn on it today as part of my colour theme, as a failed to photograph anything of interest along the Don on my walk today. I thought it was going to be a reasonable pleasant day, but the sunny intervals were few and far between and the wind was bitingly cold.
The Sheffield peregrines now have 4 eggs. The webcam is struggling a bit, but hopefully it will be fixed by the time they are hatched.
