Spoor of the Bookworm

Blue

Took Catie round to her mother's for the day. This little blue tit was busily foraging outside the window and dodging the rain of dead leaves and lumps of moss that a blackbird was chucking out of the guttering just above us.

Jake spent the afternoon happily playing with Baka who lives there. Baka obviously had her usual mixed feelings about Jake's presence: pleased to see him but jealous of any attention that might be going. She also is less than happy about Jake emptying her toy box and doing his best to destroy the toys. I notice Diana has blipped a picture of Jake concentrating hard on a tennis ball whose fate is of great interest to him.

In other news yesterday's parcel arrived safely in the frozen wastes of Scotland and now has a person in it.
