Another Day, Another Beach

"Risk of freezing drizzle" again today, so this morning I hastened down to another beach - same lake - to grab an image before everything iced up and sitting at home would then become the best option. 

What a change from yesterday - gone were those crashing waves and ice forming on everything that hugged the shore...Today? Calm waters, a sky that blended into the water and appeared to be at one with it!  

There were lots of geese and two lovely swans to break the canvas of blue,  but they were too far out for my poor little iPhone to handle well...so most of my photos were almost monochromatic. But... the understated beauty of that scene with those pastel, soft colours and the light gleaming on the water, still made my day!  Serenity or what?  

And ..after that morning rush to capture a blip? That freezing rain has still not arrived...
