Game night

I gave T the game of Rummikub for Christmas. We've been playing every night since. Good for our brains and fun. I have a daily text tread with 4 former camp counselor friends. We met in the late 60s, early 70s when we were almost or in our twenties. We have stayed in touch on and off, but really connected again at our wedding 8 years ago. Since March 2020, the start of the pandemic, we have kept the thread going daily. It's a true positive of these times. Two members of the group play this game and it sounded interesting. I'm not usually a game player, but T loves games and well, I love her and I should make an effort other than Bananagrams which I love. You have to focus and use your brain along with the luck of the draw. Merry loves to help as well!

We store the tiles in a handy bag made by Memories4Me. It contained a gift and is happily repurposed. You can see it on the table.

For the Record,
This day came in gray and rainy yet again. We did open some more lovely gifts, had a relaxing day with 2 sisters in laws and an old friend dropping in to laugh and help us eat the goodies spilling out of the pantry and candy bowl.

All hands wary!!!
