Lighten our darkness

Although the temperature has been well above freezing for the last few days ice remains on the loch. There are various zones: an area of water where a flock of gulls rested, the silvery shards of ice, in the foreground, extraordinary wave shaped ice sculptures and unbroken sheet ice. The band of light on the thawed water perhaps portends a glimmer of hope for 2022.
