Teotihuacan

After a half dozen trips to Mexico City we finally made it to the pyramids. The day started very early with a 6:30 am pickup at a hotel near our condo. We were in a 20 person van with people from Canada, Denmark, and Spain for the hour drive to the site. Our guide walked us over the 21 square kilometer site, explaining as she went. We saw the Pyramids of the Sun and Moon, which were not open for climbing, but did get to ascend the the Pyramid of the Feathered Serpent. The best part, photographically speaking, was the large number of hot air balloons that were flying over. I shot many, many photos but ended up selecting this one featuring a single balloon above some of the "lessor" ruins.
