On the beach ….

In between the heavy rains!

A slow start to the new year with nothing on the agenda! Some of us had a headache this morning … champagne doesn’t sit well with them. I on the other hand was absolutely fine.

We did manage Rocky V in the afternoon. And Ben and I got our results today, both negative! Yay.

So although our plans for yesterday had to be cancelled, we did have the most lovely evening with the boys. We haven’t been with them for NYE since they started secondary school as they were always in Hong Kong side with the friends, so it was really lovely just the four us, ringing in the new year.

Jon made a delightful fire, which we actually sat around, as it was quite cool. We contemplated what 2022 would be like and were very grateful for all that happened in 2021. It was a stressful year in many ways, but we were on the receiving end of some amazing blessings as well.
