New Year's Day

We always like to mark the new year with a bit of a walk.  Today we met up with friends for a walk around Verulamium Park in St Albans.  There were, unsurprisingly, quite a lot of people with a similar idea.

We spent most of the time chatting, including the period when we sat outside the cafe with our drinks.  I almost forgot to take any photographs.  I spotted this guy  kicking the ball for his son to practise his goalkeeping skills.

I do hope that 2022 offers me more photographic opportunities and inspiration than I seem to have had for the last couple of years. Even I am beginning to get bored with my own Blip journal!
