Once a tulip always a tulip!

Some time before Christmas L brought me a bunch of tulips. I expected that they would have died by the time we came back from Fife .... but no, they were still standing tall and straight although the petals were beginning to wither.

Today they were consigned to the bin but not before I had carefully taken one of the stems for a photo.

After watching our church service on YouTube I went up to the loch for a walk. It was very windy and even the loch looked quite choppy.

I needed petrol and was pleasantly surprised to see that the price had dropped by a few pence to 139.9p
