Herdwick Sheep

Today we repeated a walk we did back in May: you can tell that we're in the Lake District on account of the breed of sheep (it would be unusual to find them outside of the Lake District) We made it to Swinside Inn for a lunchtime drink The extra photo is looking from the Inn towards Cat Bells, a 451 metre high hill which appears to be very popular as a climb We could see dozens of people on the way up (or down) on the skyline: climbing hills with a crowd of others does not appeal to us at all! There's also a picture from the start of the walk looking towards a cloud-covered Skiddaw
