Visiting in the Streets

After moving yesterday, we set out today to explore the neighborhood. The fresh market is just a few minute walk away. Its busiest time is in the morning. Everyone is out, from the youngest family members (tied on the back or riding in a basket like in this shot) to the oldest family members.

Something I haven't seen in Thailand, are the clothes poles sticking straight out from the windows. The poles are put through the holes in the arm or leg holes in the clothes so they don't blow away. Seems like a good way to save space and get the job done. :)
