Bonkers

It's snowing, in April. It was properly unpleasant at lunchtime when I ventured out to buy some china markers. Apparently, they're what I need to make neat writing on the FEAST blackboards this Sunday.

Talking about FEAST, I spent some time yesterday with a couple of other FEASTies putting up tryptych signage on the lamp-posts up and down West Norwood. These are plywood boards lovingly screenprinted at the local printmakers' studio: Bainbridge Studios. Lucy Bainbridge had done a wonderful job. She was alarmed that we were putting up the tryptychs using only Velcro - surely they'd be nicked! So, I secured all three corners of each tryptych with cable ties. However, we discovered today that they've all been taken down. Hmm... we suspect an over-zealous council official rather than thieves. The FEAST coordinator is calmly trying to find out where they've been taken. I really hope that they've treated them kindly - the Outer London Fund gave us good money to make them! Grrr.

Fred and I tried out the local vegan restaurant tonight - Greenz. It was really tasty and we'll definitely visit again, though the food is of the slow-cooking variety (only on chef/waitress), but that's refreshing in a way.
