Kisses street lamps

Jill and I went to Hersheypark today, the last day the park is open for the season. We stopped in the parking lot to get photos of Candymonium (see extras) before entering the park. That's where I got this photo of street lamps that look like the Hershey's Kisses candy.

Candymonium had a three-hour wait, so we wandered taking photos. It wasn't too chilly (around 50 F/10 C), but it got colder as the day progressed. Candymonium closed for cold, but we did get to ride Wildcat, Sooperdooperlooper and the monorail.

We also bought season passes. The park is about 2 1/2 hours away, so we can get our money's worth. The passes were discounted by about $20 for the day's sale. It's a nice park, so we figured we should visit more. Plus, there's a great brewery nearby. We also made plans to visit an amusement park every month this year, something I don't think I've done since I lived in Florida (when I started blipping!).

After we left, we went to the brewery and purchased some beer. They actually sell some where we live, but the brewery has a wider selection.

Snow is in the forecast for tomorrow morning in the Hershey region and in eastern Maryland. Home might be spared, which would be nice.
