Rodents rule

Serenade

When I fill the feeders, the robin sings me a beautiful song. It's a real treat.

A bit of a lazy day before work starts tomorrow. We met up with friends for the late afternoon showing of The Electrical Life of Louis Wain, which is an emotional rollercoaster – all sorts of heartstring tugging going on. Bring your hankie! I've put a visit to Bethlem (Bedlam) on my list of places to go – it's not too far from me in south London.

After the film, we walked to a pizza restaurant (Cellar 107) that our friends hadn't visited. We were the only folk there and the waiter was wonderful in his attentiveness. The meal was really tasty. A fine way to the end of the festive break.
