Aquamarine/Nanna K's Day

Red and Yellow

A horse by Deborah Butterfield.   Seen as we were trying to get to the parking lot at the UW hospital.   The elevator wasn’t working and we ended up confused and walking outside in the rain.  Liked all these layers.

We were there for a discussion at the heart institute about signing up for a brand new trial , testing a new tricuspid valve inserted thru a vein.     Not sure I’d even qualify yet…a CT scan to make measurements tomorrow.   ( I can get another look at that wonderful tulip wall in radiology!)    Will write my thoughts about volunteering for this tomorrow.
I signed the informed consent.

Earlier,  7 of 10 of our book club zoomed to talk about “Mother of God” by Paul Rosque, a very adventurous and dedicated young man totally entranced with the Amazon region, it’s flora and fauna.   5 had read the book.  Some of us have been to the areas he described so it was fun and also sobering to see what’s happening environmentally with deforestation etc.
