Stork

We are getting really fed-up with the rising level of snow which is now up to the kitchen window sill. The electricity has been noticeably off for long periods. The storks however are apparently desperate and are scavenging for whatever they can find. There is debate about whether to feed them or not and many people are giving them chicken giblets.

I looked outside to see what the dogs were barking at yet again. First I noticed a couple of female bullfinches on the larch tops which were particularly camera tolerant, then I just caught sight of this single stork that had just emerged from the low cloud.
