Dress making

We are busy this week making Miss C's High School graduation dress.

She wants a 1950s classic dress with a wide skirt.
We found a pattern months ago, bought the fabric during covid and then sat on the whole project during exams and Christmas craziness.

She tried it on earlier and we realised there was a problem- it was a little too tight. So I applied my engineering design skills to add to the pattern.
Here is the rough result- which looks very promising.
