NORTH AMERICAN OTTER

North American Otter (Lontra canadensis)...y'all know about otters. There are several varieties but this species lives around here. Not all that common but they are around. We even have an Otter Pond just down the road but I've not seen one there ever.

This one lives in the zoo in Milwaukee along with two others. Loads of fun to watch as they are in constant motion. Kids just go nuts watching them.
