Hoy

The Hoy hills called and we responded.  We received a cheery greeting from Arthur at the top of the Pier.  In the mid-seventies he was my dance floor rival for the attention of the Current Mrs Creel.  He had the advantage of having of a fringed leather jacket, and a full set of teeth.

There were ramp problems on the MV Hoy Head - l nearly ran into Rorie.

We crossed to the other side (with no word from Doris Stokes).  At the bolt hole we got the 64yr old Rayburn lit, had a snack and walked around Linksness and down the High Road to visit Quoydale. The relief being in away from the pressure of the Orkney Mainland is palpable.

Now, where's my leather jacket.....
