First snow

It's been bitterly cold today and there was a light fall of snow over night giving the hills a white coating.

I went to Chirk Castle woodlands with the birdwatching group and there was a dusting of snow on the ground that had frozen which is my blip.

There weren't many birds around but we were pleased to see a tree creeper and a goldcrest.

I've taken the Christmas decorations down for another year so they just need to go back in the loft now.
