A hello ... and a goodbye.

My first post on Blipfoto, and I'm so looking forward to joining this community. Hello everyone!

I bought this beautiful nativity scene at a craft fair many years ago and the workmanship is exquisite. I love bringing it down from the loft each year and setting it up on our hall windowsill. Tomorrow it will have to be dismantled again and all the pieces will be carefully wrapped in tissue paper until next December. The other Christmas decorations will also go back in the loft and the house will look quite bare for a day or two until we get used to it.

I wonder what this new year will bring? I hope it will be a year of hope, encouragement and many blessings.
