Ducks on the Arle

A cold, frosty, but sunny morning. I cycled into town for a few things, including a book by John Grisham, "Gray Mountain", for my Mum's next reading  assignment. .
This afternoon I had to go to Alresford, the town ten miles away, where I used to work. Often at lunchtime I would  walk down to the river Arle, to the spot  where the ducks always congregate,  so for  old times sake, I strolled there today. The mallard ducks and  coots  were still present, and being quite vocal,  but only a few cooperated in being  photographed, probably because I didn't  bring any food with me.
