Anyone for tennis?

In my role as benevolent uncle, I entertained the nephew Jack today. I had taken this week of to do things with my son Luke, but he went to Northampton last night to catch up with friends, so I was at a loose end anyway.

We played tennis (again). I was much improved since Devon as I seem to have managed to overcome the pulled muscle that hindered me there. I really felt like an old man at times down in Devon.

We also went swimming. Jack taught me how to do a proper transition turn on the breaststroke and I managed to reduce my stroke count by 7 strokes which should make life easier when I do the swimathon in 3 weeks time. I'm still not particulalry good at 20 strokes. Jack manages it in 14.
