I took a bus into town and, after a wander, went to the Museum of Making at the Silkmill. Very interesting and with a high level of emphasis on train and aero engine development, as you'd expect in Derby. I'll have to go back, it's free.

Edit: the next census won't be released until 2052... I'll be 99, fingers crossed anyway!
