Like all of you, I strive to take good pictures, but it doesn’t always work out. Today I saw one and I got it. So what does Martinski think makes a good landscape picture? For me you have to have something sharp in the foreground, and something interesting in the background. I saw a fine example of this while commenting today. Framing is a lot to do with it, you have to get that right. Then all you need (most times) is lovely light. But it’s a bit like fishing. There are many days when you fail to catch anything, not even a tiddler.
