Orchid

Another miserable day weather-wise. The highlight of my day was being given a big beaker of lemon squash and a Kit Kat for donating a unit of my  blood! 
My blip is of my Christmas present to myself; I couldn't resist buying this lovely  orchid. Of course, the challenge will be to keep it happy so it will produce blooms in the future. Meanwhile, I will enjoy these flowers, each morning, when I open the bedroom  curtains and see the plant  on the window sill.
