J was preparing dinner when I rudely interrupted her with a cry of "Stop! Blip!"

I think the colour of the chopping board made it especially striking, but I'm always fascinated anyway by the patterns in nature - even humble fruit and vegetables. And hispi cabbages are a nice shape!

(That knife scares me. It's J's favourite kitchen implement, but I won't use it!)
