Day at the beach

With the beach only an hour away and the temperature rising we decided to take puppy for her first adventure including waves. Of course the camera came along for our daily blip. We also went to an open home of the strangest house we've ever been to... suffice to say we won't be buying a beach house just yet!

These are my first beach shots with the camera dad gave me. I didn't quite have the settings right and most came out quite dark and needed editing. I guess Google may not be the best place to find camera settings - who knew?!?

Extras today show the opposite view and puppies first reaction to the waves. At first she says, "Wait for me, I'm coming too." Second shot shows a pretty quick change of heart once the waves started rolling towards her! She got braver as the day went on and we will definitely be taking her back. Lots of socialising too - she still sadly does not like meeting new dogs - lots of barking, although the tail continuously wags so maybe she is just saying hello!

A great day out with the family. We can't wait to next summer when we can bring our first grandchild with us too.
